The New NBA

The roster page has been updated to reflect the changes we discussed in our recent clan meeting. Much thanx to everyone who attended. The new structure looks promising. Please be aware that this is a work in progress and will continue to be updated so please keep those suggestions coming.

OGL Victory

We successfully defended the 34th rung in an excellent match with Clan Misfire. Kudos to Serial Thriller and Kellog who had stand out performances, and congratulations to the rest of the squad who participated. Good work

Promotion

Congratulations to Crash and Skunker who are know a hardcore NBA grunt. The new look for positions is shaping out nicely. Here is a brief look so far:

Ace and Maa are generals; Chugbug is Captain; Serial Thriller is Lieutenant.; Kellog, Cure and Happy are Sergeants; Ex-Con and Hooter are team leaders.

The rest are privates and recruits but hopefully soon that all recruits will be privates under the wise influence of our Drill Instructor Knightwolf and whoever assistance he has.

OGL MATCH AND TRAINING

There will be training for the upcoming OGL match on the 11th of July. Training is scheduled for 7.30p.m server time on the day before the match on the match server. All players who are participating should attend and if not please contact a higher ranked officer. The shceduled map is de_cbble and the rest of the clan wishes you all the best. The players playing will be announced shortly.

NEW RECRUITS AND PROMOTION

I would just like to give a public warm welcome to the newest recruits: Camel-hopper, *Dead*people, Crash and Skunker. tWelcome to the NBA family. I would also like to congratulate ShortBus (Shot U2) and Enigma for their promotion into soldier status. I put my full trust into Knightwolf to train these fine talents and future incoming members.

New Custom Map Rotation

The mapcycle on Nobots has been updated to include custom maps. They are available in a single file download. Here are two links for downloading the map pack:

New Match/Practice Server

We have brought up a dedicated Match/Practice server. Please go to the NBA Clan-Wutang private forum and check out the rules and password for the OGL configured server.

Clan MVP Award

We are now going to have an MVP of the month award. It will be for [NBA] and [NBA-r] members only. How it will work is that there will be MVP nominations at the end of every month. There will be nominations, and if you get a second, you could become the MVP. Nominees will be approved by Man_at_Arms and Ace. Then there will be a vote. And of course, the member with the most votes, wins. The winner will get the title of MVP, and have "MVP" put in their "Notes" on the roster page. And there will be a new MVP vote every month.

Knightwolf will be administering the votes please direct questions to him on the forums.

Recruiting is closed

We have had a flood of new recruits who seem to be working out so unsolicited requests will no longer be accepted. New membership will be by invitation only. Clan membership is possible but only with sponsorship by a current member. Don't call us we'll call you!
